Joyful Learning: Roots of Literacy

Description: Participants will explore historical influencers and how children construct their understandings of literacy. Using a variety of materials we have in our learning environments, we will experience the playful roots of oral language, phonemic awareness and alphabetic principles that grow readers and writers.
