Join us for a full day of in-person learning at a location near you!

A WYECPLC Learning Event is a full day of classes held in a location near you. You are welcome to attend a portion of the event, or join us all day and earn up to 8 hours of STARS credit. Learning events are also opportunities for us to hear from early childhood experts from around the state who partner with us. If you are interested in helping us with a learning event, please reach out by emailing us at wyecplc@uwyo.edu.

Upcoming Learning Events

Rock Springs Learning Event
Saturday, April 20 from 8-5pm

Register now for the Rock Springs Learning Event. This event will be held at Western Wyoming Community College. This mini-conference like event is a full day of in-person classes. You’re welcome to attend any or all of this event and classes are for anyone working with young children. You can earn up to 8 hours of STARS credit. There will be a different class every hour and door prizes after each session.

Class topics will include: building self awareness, family child care ideas, promoting language development, how to create a positive emotional environment, creating infant toddler programs and curriculum, and tools to support children’s development.

Casper Learning Event
Saturday, May 4 from 8-5pm

Join us in Casper at the Ford Wyoming Center. More details and detailed schedule to come. A learning event is like a mini conference—a full day of in-person classes for anyone working with young children. Participants can attend any or all of this event and earn up to 8 hours of STARS credit in one day! There will be different classes every hour and door prizes after each session.

Class topics will include: how to create a positive emotional environment, building social-emotional skills for young children, working with infants and toddlers, and tools to support children’s development.
