Location: Student Union, Casper College, Classroom 315

Description: Block play offers vital skills for young children such as: cognitive, social, and physical. During our time together we will dig deeper into the benefits of block play in the development of children, discuss how we as educators can engage with, scaffold and extend children's learning, finally we will reflect on our current block area and consider elements that we could add to make it a more enriching space.
