Description: As early childhood educators we can feel torn between teaching academics and allowing children plenty of time to play. Together we will explore how play promotes joyful learning which fosters self-regulation, language, cognitive and social competencies, discuss how we as practitioners can intentionally set up environments for learning, and finally consider resources that can support our work with young children.
